Screening Meeting Preparation:

Thank you for your interest in Wisconsin Investment Partners. Our goal is to help companies make the best presentation possible for our group and other investors. We hope the following information makes the logistics easy and clear.

Attendance is by invitation and should be preceded by careful discussion with a Wisconsin Investment Partners member. Meetings are held monthly and occasionally on an as needed basis. We are supportive and highly inquisitive and therefore, we ask critical questions which apply to any new business proposal.

Typically, the screening committee reviews business plans or executive summaries prior to arranging a presentation. This helps insure a productive meeting for all parties. Our objective is to have companies make the best presentation possible for our group.

The screening meetings are normally 45 minutes in length. Punctuality is very important due to tight scheduling. Please have a presentation that can be made in 15-20 minutes, allowing ample time for questions and discussion. A sample presentation format is on our website for download. The members prefer handouts rather than projector presentations. This facilitates note taking and our follow up discussions. Please provide your contact information on handouts. Please provide your own equipment if you strongly prefer projector presentations.

We strongly prefer non-disclosing materials only in your presentations and have strong reservations about the need for confidential disclosure agreements. We see a large number of presentations and confidential materials are usually not critical to our review process. Please do not come to the meeting and surprise us with a request for CDA’s.

The meetings are usually held at University Research Park in the MG&E Innovation Center, 505. S. Rosa Road, Madison, WI 53719. Driving instructions are provided on our web site. The conference room number is provided prior to the meeting.

Please provide your cell phone information to your screening member contact and vice versa so as to allow last minute communication should scheduling problems arise.

We normally communicate the status of our interests within a week following the presentation. Success at this level leads to an invitation to present to our full network at a regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
